IIRC, you are opposed to the pdx, correct. Something about the tri-path?

I am debating what 5 channel amp to get. And ca.com is stupid and you cannot search for 5 channel amps.

I am not against the PDX persay. It has serious advantages. I just don't have faith(maybe due to no experience) in any Logic steered D class topology. The one Alpine uses now isn't Tripath chips, but a similar tech developed by someone else that I can't recall right now. Alpine used Tripath in older 5 chans though. I would rather just have a Class A/B 4 channel connected to a D class mono channel and leave out the Logic chips. I don't think the foot prints are that much bigger than the PDX when compared. Then again, I am not pressed for every inch of space saved either.

I plan to get the interior of my Jeep Rhino Lined someday. It's just more practical than carpet. Especially considering what I do with my Jeep. The floor board is routinely submerged.

no rhino liner yet? ive thought about doing mine, but i was worried about how it would effect the inside noise. i imagine the carpet dampens some of it.

I never heard from the company and suspect they don't sell in US. May want to ask where he got it and if he has any thoughts on it. From what I have found it is rated 90X4 + 275@ 4ohm and is a A/B + D design. I like the clean look of it and the build inside looks good.

It can't do much do0d. It is the flimzyest carpet on the planet.
Besides, I stopped worrying about noise when I put on the 35" mudders. My dog can hear me coming from a 1/4 mile away.

my 06 is alot quiter than my 93 was. i dont have the big mudders on there yet. im gonna line it someday, but the regear comes first. i just wish i had the balls to try to do that myself. i dont like other people working on my baby.

no, its just the X. it does have dana 44s though. its a ruby without the ruby price tag.

The 93's have all kinds of problems. I don't doubt it.

i got my 93 in 93. sold it in november. has over 220K on it now, and its still going. only problem i ever had was oil in the air filter. that seems to be a weak spot for jeeps back then.

Whao. I didn't know the X came with a rear 44. I thought the X was a branding trick they did for the basic model.

i told them i wanted 44s. took them about 2 months to find it.
