There has to be surface streets. I never take the freeways in Detroit. As long as you don't point anybody or draw attention to yourself you'll be safe.

That and stop lights everywhere = same as spending time in gridlock. The train is fast, easy and did I mention you can drink?

Yes but Gary fits my budget. That is the problem I see with moving to Chicago. I hate the south and west so I'm pretty much stuck here on the I-94 corridor.

8 Mile isn't that bad. 8 Mile isn't where your murders are. 8 Mile is lots of ************. I mean at every light on 8 Mile is a hooker. Lot of drugs, theft, robberies. Murders are farther in the city.

For what it costs to live in a bad area of Chicago, you can live in a good neighborhood in the suburbs of Detroit.
