Well, I re-presented the idea of us moving in together and associated circumstances. I tried to emphasize the point is not that I think she is going to run off with my money or so crazy non-sense like that...not at all.
But that revisits another issue:

Is it worth it to try and buy a house when you may live there 8 months tops. I think it will be hard to pay a mortgage on a house while paying for an apt near school...still dunno how to handle that one. I wouldn't know any better if I were single.

how is the rental market where you live? Keep the house as a long term investment.

Renting is more expensive than buying....but I may have to.
