I was thinking more of the line of nG's seamonster. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifI shall be patient.
In the meantime, make this his avatar.

Tis why I like it. It gains more authority down low with a 2 cuft tuned enclosure, but not as much as a basshead would like. Sealed isn't optimal for compromise on that woofer. It needs ported, but not a large ported enclosure. My HE2s have more output in sealed than the mag too, but they are a sealed driver.Actually I'll just go ahead and write a brief review.
The mag is def what people have said about it all along. It's a musical sub that easily blends with your front stage. However, that being said...I noticed a HUGE decrease in output from directly swapping my GTI for the Mag. The low notes are not being hit with authority like my gti. My box is 1.2^3 sealed and the gains weren't changed...direct swap...about 800 watts. I would say it's not for someone who wants a lot of bass but rather a sub to easily integrate with a decent front stage. I'm going to try it in my ported box later tonight. The good thing about it though, is the bass isn't boomy from a kickdrum it actually just sounds....nice I guess. lol
go check it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifThat would be teh funnay!
I will agree with you. In a standard cab truck, good sealed drivers are a must. Have you tried an IDQ?I know you were but I gave up ported boxes long ago because I drive a truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif It just ***** having this huge box right next to you.
DO EEET! Good gift for a woman who doesn't have one. Get one with decent storage capability though. Don't go cheap. May even make a custom wooden trim frame for it, with some thoughtful wood burning on it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifalso, to change subjects. What do you guys think about buying a digital picture frame as a valentines day gift? I've been researching them like mad and been finding some great stuff.
If you can't get it to blend in sealed, then you expect too much. It's output plummets, but it gets a real gradual slope. No over abundance anywhere in the range. If this was a problem with your Q in sealed then I would say you need to play with processing more, because it is your car with the gremlin, not the drivers.Chevy, I am gonna run the mag at 1.05 sealed...I don't expect much authority....I wonder if will blend better than my Q. I have my doubts.
