Why wouldn't you go for the Pontiac Solstice GXP??Isn't is somewhat stronger performance-wise?
not at all, both use the same power/drivetrain, same chasis, only differences are interior trim, exterior sheet metal, and options.
i personally STRONGLY prefer the skys styling over the solstice, and the interior is a hundred times better in the sky than the solstice (again, in my opinion). have driven both, and really like the sky alot better, and am willing to pay the extra $2k for the sky over the solstice.
not to mention, the fact that the sky is the rarer of the two vehicles...
after doing some quick math, i have figured out these things that have pretty mych sold me on it:
fuel mileage - if i get even close to the rated fuel economy, it will cut my monthly gas tab in 1/3, which will give me over half of the cars payment in moeny saved...
the truck just doesent make sense anymore... most likely going to an office job, and in the parking deck at the office, the truck literally doesent make ANY of the turns... i had to take every turn twice the last time i went there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

and lastly... come on, its a turbocharged convertible that gets up to 60 in 5 seconds... its a fun car to drive //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif (although, not so dre friendly, if you know what i mean)
the only downside i can see so far is that im going to have to be VERY creative with stereo options... room is incredibly tight in there, but still pretty accomodating and comfortable, and pretty much no trunk space available.
