buh...

so im pretty much sold on buying the projector. now my only debate is whether or not it is worth it to go ahead and spend the extra dough on a 1080p projector. i mean, i can get a 720p projector for well under $1k, and i can buy it at pretty much cost, and pay cash for it. or i can spend about $2k+ and get a 1080p projector...

on the one hand, ill have a good projector at a good price, and there is little to nothing (outside of blu rays) recorded or broadcast in 1080p at the moment. but ill possibly have to buy a new one in a few years. on the other hand, ill be ahead of the curve and have a solid *** projector that should last several years, but ill be out a good bit of dough.

another thought i just had, if i save the money and go with the 720p projector, buy the time i am ready to upgrade to teh 1080p projector, the cheaper projector will probably be ready for a new bulb anyways. i know its minimal, but those bulbs are expensive...

maybe the best route is to buy a 720p for now, and sell it and upgrade it in a few years. stupid technology...
