This is what I was thinking.
To me, and this is my personal opinion all be it right or wrong, putting in two mids would be a cluster **** in a car. I understand if you NEED the volume, but for me I wouldn't sacrifice the simplicity and ease of getting one to sound good. If you can even call that simplicity.

Well I'll probably need the volume, and for less than $50 per door in mid(s)... what else should I get?
