I switched my rcas and speaker wires to my rear channels to see if maybe the left output on the amp was bad, nope still did the same thing whenever I swapped them. I have a feeling it's been what I've thought all along, that my Headunit output is getting weak because sound comes from it it's just not very loud at all.

my Pioneer had that problem, the right channel was really weak, and the left one was louder.

so i had to put my balance at R6 to make the sound stereo and up the gain some, least i got stereo sound or i woulda hated listenin to mono for my fronts.

Well, see if anything changes when you pinch the RCA's... or wiggle them. On either end (CD player or amp side)...

I did it at the amp end but not the headunit end, I'll check that tomorrow. I actually looked where my rca is hidden at to see if something was pinching it and couldn't see anything wrong. I'll pull the unit out tomorrow.
