Crunk Flammable Jello Times

holy shit Ng whats up?
Well, it's been horribly slow around the shop the past 4 or more weeks...

Past 2 weeks I only worked 6 days total... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Told me to go home today at 1pm... I went and asked if they wanted me to come in at all the rest of the week...

Answer was, not if it stays like this... so I told them I'm gonna be looking for another job... and to call me if they need me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

They already have 3 full-time installers at my location... and I'm low-man...

Did they outsource labor to a cheap mexican?

That sucks man...
I would defiantly be looking else where...
Oh, I've already been looking for a new day job the past 2weeks... I actually have an interview on Friday for one... hehehe //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Just wish I didn't have to deal with this gap of nothingness before I get another job...

I'm down.

As long as the pay is decent, and I have the ability to get benefits... I'm open to a lot. I put my resume on Monster.com and have actually had 5 calls this past week and a half...

Going to be calling them back tomorrows.

Both, installing a pool can get you great money. But you should learn about the chemicals, and how to maintain one properly.

installing = BIG chunks of money

chemicals & servicing = your bread & butter.
Selling Two-Way Radios = BIG chunks of money

Parts and service = Bread and Apple Butter... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Only problem Kenwood Two-Way radios are build too good and I don't really have to do much to service them anymore... Either put on a new antenna or belt clip or send it to URS...

That is where my rentals come in... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

97% of pool stores that sell above ground pools don't install them, so the customer always goes looking for someone who can.

Installs here start around $700+ average is $1300, all tax free of course. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Inground pools are different. Too many varibles come into play, like they start around $16K, but there's several people installing them. So the pay from those isn't always good.

What's even better is if you can get on with a stope that carries hot tubs, I.E. Hot Springs Spas. They teach you everything you need to know about their spas, and most of their shit is custom made only for their spas, so if you can repair a Hot Spring Spa, you can repair any spa. Delivering one is a PITA though, they weigh alot. Need a team of people. Our delivery is $500
