Crunk Flammable Jello Times

PM me a mailing address, Mike, and I'll get that in the mail later this afternoon.

Circuit City essentially paid me $8 the other day to take home 150 blank CD-Rs so I have some extras //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

It was purely a case of someone being incredibly lazy...

I was running low on blanks so I had a look online to see if anyone had any sales going on before I just rode somewhere to look.

So, I look on Circuit City's, Best Buy's, OfficeMax and Office Depot's websites etc to see if anyone had any good deals going.

Well, on CC's site they had HP 50 packs on sale for $5.49 each. Bargain! says Prowler.

So - I submit my order for 3 of the 50 packs and set it for in-store pickup rather than paying $4 to have the order shipped since I had to go to the end of town where our CC is anyway.

Well, apparently CC has this guarantee that if you submit on online order for in-store pickup and it isn't ready in 24 minutes after your confirmation email comes through then you get a free $24 CC gift card.

(It was like an hour or so before I wandered down there to pick it up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif)

So when I get there and walk up to the service counter to pick up my order they hadn't bothered to go and get my 3 rolls of blank CD-Rs.

The display with the on-sale HP 50 packs was literally 5 paces from the service counter.

So the cashier chick walks the 5 paces to the display and picks up my 3 rolls of CDs and comes back to the counter to ring me up. I was just shaking my head at this point because I had already stood in line for better than 5 minutes waiting on her to get off of the phone arguing with her boyfriend from the sounds of things...

So after she rings me up and my total comes to $17 & change after tax I say to her, "And what about my gift card since you folks were too lazy to walk right over there (pointing at the display rack) and pick up my purchase?"

Grumbling under her breath she processed my $24 card and hands it over along with my receipt and very grudgingly says, "Here you are, sir. Thank you and have a nice day."

I bet her supervisor chewed her *** for being so lazy that she had to give me $24 of CC's money for a $17+ purchase! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
