the odds are youre an idiot.
hey quick question... Do any of you know if your SUBS (not amps) perform better in colder weather, or warm weather? I see 2 sides of it... colder weather the cone would be tighter and punchier, giving a more crisp sound... warm weather it could be "floppier" and more flexible though...
Is it dangerous to Bump hard in the winter when its like 5Deg. and your car is cold?!?
Yes it is dangerous. The suspension can freeze solid and putting power to it, with it frozen could cause the coils to overheat and fry. That's why I always took my system out in winter.
NO....SHEIT!!? Good to know then. So should I be ok if I give it a few minutes on low power?? or just wouldnt do it at all?? (heheh..I bet I could break my back window in the winter now) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gifI want to just to say I did...one of those things
Ngsm.Personally I'd put in some of those warming packs that deer hunters use for their hands. Stick them into the pole vent. Your sub will in fact bust if you don't keep that coil warm.
