CRUNCH p1100.2 *cheap*

An amp like that should do about 100x4 at 4 and 150x4 at 2. Around 300x2 bridged.

I had a Lanzar Vibe 430 -- similar quality, similar power.

It put out plenty of power to run a component set and a decent sub.

$80 in excellent condition seems fair to me.

However, you can get it for around $100 new.

There are much better amps, but if you're just looking for cheap power I think that one qualifies.

That amp is a piece of shit. Save your money.
for 100$ its beating the shit out of 2 10" mtx 5500 series subs all day long. cheap price doesnt mean peice of shit moron. they are a "pricepoint" product they use the same components as other products do for a lower price and advertise max rated power vs rms rated power. they are actually extremely reliable and do exactly what they are rated for.

Oh so now I'm a moron because your amp is a piece of shit? well I'll let you in on something, YOUR AMP IS A PIECE OF SHIT AND YOU'RE STUPID FOR THINKING IT ISN'T. It's low quality, uses few parts and is just all around garbage. There are a million other amps out there that you can get used that are a hundred times better. You clearly know nothing about amplifiers.

# Peak (Dynamic) Power Rating:

* 4 ohms: 225 watts x 2 chan.

* 2 ohms: 550 watts x 2 chan.

* Bridged, 4 ohms: 1100 watts x 1 chan.

Yea, nice amp. 225 @ 4 0hms per channel? at peak? lol. That amp probably does

Grinder - your snobophile's showing. I would think Sundown expects more from their reps.

I could talk smack about how great my amps are too in an attempt to feel better about myself, but that doesn't get anyone anywhere.

For some reason I though that was a 4 ch in my original post.

A 2 ch with 2x30's should do a good 125-150x2 at 4 and probably 250x2 at 2 (or better).

If you can't recognize the power at that price at least makes that amp a good option for someone on a budget -- then I'd just say you're blinded by arrogance.

I don't think your US would eat it alive by any means - I think they would be pretty comparable, if not the Crunch would be more powerful, and that's at what...1/2? Maybe even 1/4 the price??

he just owned someone lol

i think the crunch 2 channel are farily decent and can be used acordingly if you know how much power an amp really puts out.

No one said anything about price. I'm not talking up the Sundowns, they speak for themselves. Crunch is close to bottom of the barrel in terms of quality. There are many amps out there. OP doesn't have to buy a brand new amp to compete with it. I really don't care what he buys or even about this thread. Crunch sucks. /Thread.

I bet used within its means, this amp would do well. Because it's crunch does not mean it's garbage and peak power ratings are usually rated at +3dB louder or double the power.

No need to trash it, it would do well on a budget and not maxed out on gains and bass boost.

You know, when i see post like "it sucks", "it's a peice of crap"... i just ignore them because they are not worth argueing about because the argument will never end and no productive resolution will occur in the nd.

But it just seems to me that you sure make a lot of posts like this when it's anything other then your favorite flavor.

Just about every Maxxsonics product post gets a reply like this from you but when you are saying things like this it is obvoius that they are unsubstantiated opinions and have no basis for truth.

Crunch is not a high end brand and we never say it is a high end brand.

It is a less expensive brand for many reasons and the biggest reason is that it is a very, very high volume sales product and with very high sales volume products comes lower selling costs.

These amps are designed and engineered by the same guy that designed and engineered Hifonics amplifiers for more then 20 years.

It doesn't share all of the same quality components but it is designed and built to be an excellent watt per dollar amp that is solid, robust and has an extremely low return rate.

It's obvous that Lexus is a higher end and higher cost vehicle then Toyota but that doesn't make Toyota a bad car.

I would gladly compare the dependability and reliability to any other product in it's price range and most at twice the cost.

Please do not think I am bashing you because of your opinions and comments but at some point it just gets to the point where I feel we need defending.

I respect eveyones opinions and and mine are not the law but we do take great pride in our products and tens off thousands of people support us each month.

For those of you that support our products, thank you.

For those that don't, we'll work hard to at least earn your respect.
