crunch gp3000d pro

my amp is making a slight whine noise when i start the car. not sure it does it once i start listening to music cause its way in the back and not that loud. not sure what it is i dont think it did it before what could this be
The amp itself or is it coming through the woofer? Sounds like a bad ground.

its not even low its at 14.4-14.5 i have all the volume down and amp down its just when i ever i started the car today i noticed it was making a slight noise dont know might have to check the amps voltage but it should be okay

It's probably power supply noise.. my gp3000D did it too.
what do you mean power supply noise.what type of noise can you describe its not really notcieable unless you get right up to it.i think its my batt in trunk the groung terminal is loose

i just went out and turned the car on and its not doing it i messed with the terminal could be that maybe not maybe they just make a nosie when they are on just never really noticed it

Grounds are not going to cause the coils to whine. Older amps usually do it, you can pop the cover off, grab the coils and see if they are loose. Sometimes just giving the coils a slight twist will stop them from whining. It's nothing bad though, just leave it alone.

well how do i fix it then is very low like i said you have to be real quiet and nothing on just to here it i just dont know what to do let it go or open it up to see whats wrong the amp light stays green all the time
