I am buying a 2002 crown vic with 75k miles in mint condition tomorrow silver on outside with black leather. It has the police package so it has some good power and stiff suspension, but I want to do it big with the SPL. I havent been in the game for about a year now but was wondering if RD audio was still on the map? If so what would you guys reccomend other than the RD hw most likely in the 15" version? For you guys that have a crown vic or have seen there trunk space would I be better off spending the money on 2 15"s or running 1 in a huge enclosure? I would run around 4k watts, and I already have plenty of huge batts and beefy electrical, so would it be a good idea to spend an extra 600 or so on another 15"? As for an amp that will do 4k watts at 1ohm is there anything new out that would be an good idea to look into? What about 2 crunch gp 3000's I know they dont put out exactly 3k rms but its in the ball park correct? 2 of them would be loud as hell and its always better to have more power so I can leave the gain down for a reliable daily stereo. The only downside on 2 amps would be the amount of wiring that would be extra, and trunk space. As for some type of air flow to the cabin from the trunk what should I do? The rear seats dont fold down so is my only option to cut into the rear deck? Thanks alot guys I love this forum everyone is really helpful all input is greatly appreciated and will be taken into consideration. Work is boring as hell lets get a discussion going all you cv people.
