Crossovers

Who uses crossovers with amps and h/u's with crossovers already on them? I heard that if you use an external crossover with amps that already crossovers built in it will hurt the amp. But I have seen an external crossover add extra bass as well, but he hasnt had it installed that long. So is it good or bad?

While your question is confusing as hell, I was able to decipher it enough to answer firmly... no. You can run as many crossovers in series as you want to acheive the final frequency band/slope that you need.

Running other crossovers will not hurt the one in your amp.

However, its not always beneficial to use multiple xovers just because you have them. Sometimes a simpler system only utilizing one of them is best.
