You will have to experiment with everything and listen to see what sounds best. It might be right at the point or it might be couple hundreds or even a thousand hertz higher with a less steep slope.
is there a chance where i choose a bad frequency for a crossover and itll damage my speaker/tweeter? i dont wanna let my tweeter play to low where it struggles and breaks or my mids to play to high and struggles and breaks..
and when it says mid lpf thats the mid lowest point itll play so it will cut off at that frequency right? and so goes for the mid hpf that means thats the highest the mid will play until the frequency wont play any higher than that? is this right?
If you have the tweeter playing to low there is a good chance it will pop. Normally they are ok at 2x FS. If you can't find any info start at 3.5k -24db. The ideal 2 way will have a tweeter that can at least go 2.5k. The good ones will easily do that. Normally are 28mm
