Has anybody actually heard one in person or anything? they say that they are the best in the world and they are very pricy but are they really da sauce?

I've heard they are quite good but the price is a bit out of line for it. If you have the cash, though, they are a good overall woofer based on everything I've heard.

yeah ppl talk them up a lot. 2K is a bit much though. i think that for the price, 18BTLs and TREO SSXs will do you better.

I HIGHLY doubt the sq on a BTL would be anywhere close to the SQ on a UL12. Based on everything I have read/seen on the BTL's they wouldn't stand a chance. I have heard the UL12's in person, and they are crystal clear. On top of that they do have very good output. Of course I only know a few people who have them because the pricetag being so high. And for a lot less you can do just as good if not better. But if someone were to give one to me, I would take it over many subs out there.

yeah they are supposed to be the clearest from what i understand. i would take one too if i had the wattage and money. 2Critical is fvuckin hooked up.
