Crescendo Mezzo SQ2 6.5" vs UN-65 Loud Speakers W/ FT1 Black Series

So I'm looking to upgrade my 2008 Mazda 3 GT speakers and don't know what 6.5" speakers I want. I was looking at the Crescendo Mezzo SQ2's or getting UN-65 Loud Speakers with FT1 Black Series tweeters. Any thoughts, opinions or input wanted! Also other reccomendations much welcomes as I'm not set on what I want. Would like to spend $350> for the speakers, tweeters and crossovers setup.

I would not touch the FT-1s at all. Not even with a 50 foot stick. If you do go with UNs, do crescendo STS-1 silk domes instead.

On the the actual question. If you have a head unit that is active network capable and a 4 channel amp, the UNs + STS-1 hands down is the superior choice. Heck even the PWX is fine for daily as well. A lot more midbass vs the UNs. The UNs are extremely loud though. one pair of 6.5 can keep up with a pair of 8 inch standard pro audio mids.

If you have a basic head aftermarket head unit and only a 2 channel amp then do the components.
