Ok, I'm attempting to put together a SQ dedicated system into a Honda pilot. Already I have a Pioneer Premier DEH-960P. At this point I'm not worried about the sub, I have a temp solution, but that can wait.
At the moment, I have one set of components to be installed in the front of the vehcile, CDT EF61s, 6.5s, and a set of directed audio studios for the rear, also 6.5.
My questions are these: Is it better for SQ to have the second set of components, or should I get a midbass or rearfill for the back doors.
Or better still, ditch the rear speakers entirely and drive more power to the fronts? I did that in my old Chevy Blazer fullsize and it was a tremendous difference. Don' t know how the rear seat passengers felt, but didn't really care.
Second, for a sound quality amp (using a visonik as a placeholder right now), what is the best amp for say around $300 to 400 running 100x4 RMS?
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks all!
