I was just going to say the same thing. You can also sue the bartender that was serving her that night.

My fiancee works as a manager at a local bar and this has happened once before. Bartender was fired, was charged and now can never serve alcohol again and the bar lost $20,000....nearly shut them down if it wasn't for their insurance.

That's crazy. I'm glad no one was in that truck or they would have been messed up. I'd be so pissed off if someone hit my car that hard. I'd be going to jail for beating her to death lol. Good luck on a new vehicle. Your truck will probably total from the frame being twisted to hell and I'm sure your transmission will be shot. If I'm not mistaken that transmission will be anywhere between $1000 to $1500 for a brand new one installed.

Not really. I had my transmission in my truck (74 Chevy C10, turbo 350) rebuilt for $400. I installed it myself. I can't imagine his transmission costing more than $1k to be rebuilt and around $500 for it to be installed. $500 is close to 7 hours of service time. His truck would pay around that possibly a little more. I had my transmission uninstalled and reinstalled (my first time mind you) in 8 hours. So I'm pretty sure it would be around $1500 just about anywhere you go. But it also depends on the shop.
