Craziest projects/pipe dreams

I'm currently working on a Geo Storm, dropping in a whole new engine and putting a stage three turbo on it, 600+ HP and street legal.
Anybody else have some crazy ideas?
Yea I have a projct Vehicle too...

Its a 2000 S10 Blazer... I havedone a few things to it so far such as:

Dropped it 5 " in the Front w Belltech 2" Drop spindels amd 3" Coils and Drop Shocks

Dropped it 6" in the rear with 3" Belltech Drop Leafs and 3 " Pinon angle corrected Drop Blocks, Drops shocks as well and I had to cut th Bump stop brackets of the Frame and axle...

Added after market Ram Air Hood

Street Sceene Mirrors

Street Sceene Bumber cover and lower Valance

Street Sceene Speed Grilles (upper and lower)

Shaved the roof rack

Repainted whole truck Maroon with the addition of Golden Orange Ghost Flames up the bumper, across the hood, down the fenders to the back of the doors

used the same golden perl color to highlight the body line all the way around the truck and both sides of the Ram Air Ducts

Aftermarket Tail lights (crappy ditching soon)

Aftermarket driving lights for front end (replaced the amber ones with clear)

as for the interior I have Billet Aluminum Flamed Pedals, Rear View Mirror and Dash Knobs.

I have tweeded the Dash, the Center Console, Parts of the Door Pannels in Maroon tweed

I'm working on a custom Console (but can't make anything I'm happy with)

For an Audio System it has

A Kenwood DVD Head Unit

5 LCD Screens 2-5" in Visors, 2-6" in rear on each side of the Sub Amp, and a 13.3 on top of Sub Enclosure

A Microsoft Xbox (wireless Halo at Car shows Rocks)

The Sub box iscovered in Graphite color Vinyl and Maroon tweed like the before

The subs are 3 12" JL 12W6s Powered by a Hifonics Zeus (Gets perfect at 90% volume, just not loud enough)

Mids tweets are Eclipse Point Source Component sets

Have all Phoenix Gold Wiring, connecters and distribution blocks

3 Optima Yellow tops and a Alumapro 15 Farad Cap

(I'm selling most of that system to a guy in my club with the same year Blazer and re-doing the whole thing)

as far as current and future plans: (been talking about these next 3 projects for a year now, they are finally comming together)

I just ordered a custom rear roll pan, the stuff to shave the rear tail lights and do frenched 94-96 Caddy lights and frenched in liscense plate... I haven't seen these mods on a Blazer around here.

as soon as I get that done it'll be going in to get airbagged I have all the parts except a 4 link for the rear...

Once thats done, I will be starting on the new audio system which I also have about 90% of... All I need for it is 1 more amp, a line driver and 2 pairs of 6.5" componet sets (waiting on R.E., to try their XXX Componets) and maybe a few ppairs of RCAs....

After all that is done.... I'm looking at a kit thats in developement right now to graft a Caddy Escalade front Clip onto my Blazer shave door handles, suicide the doors and a whole new new paintjob... I'm sure by then, I'll have a few new ideas too...

smullen, i think you should keep that front end, i think a caddy front end would look overdone, and the red paint is very nice. what would you be changing it to

Thanks for the Compliments...

When I redo the paint, I'll keep the Maroon base either do a two tone (Maroon on Bottom, House of Kolor Silver on top, or Maroon with some nice graphics, nothing two tacky or gawdy, but remember this is for shows and crap, so it needs to draw looks, not be plain and blend in)

I think the caddy front end actually looks pretty sweet if they scale it down right and don't put it on there all big... If left to big, it does look all gawdy....

heres a few pics...

There is a lot of grafting work to cut it down and make it look right...

there are drag cars with near 800-900hp that are FWD, but if you put that same power to a RWD car it would be faster, and handle better. personally if you are looking to build a civic block to over600 hp you better be looking to spend a small fortune.
and just switching out the fuel injectors, header, etc and adding a "stage 3 turbo" wont exactly do the trick. you have to build EVERYTHING in that motor, from the crank to the bolts that hold everything together. i dont think you know the quandry you are getting yourself into.

btw, how old are you.

Well I haven't even started yet. Would it be easier to just say "screw it" and try it on a rear wheel such as a 240sx?

smullen, i still think an envoy front end would look alot better, but thats just me, i know that the caddy front end WILL draw more attention though.

yes. but dont try to get over 300hp from it, keep the horsepower around 250-275 and make it a drifter.

u dont need 250hp to drift, i drift just fine with the stock motor. Plus whats wrong with making it a drag car? 300hp 240sx will do 12's 1/4's.

but that CRX isnt FWD its RWD

and i didnt say there was anything wrong with a 240sx drag car, id just think id rather it handle really good and use it for drifting.

2800lbs isnt light for a RWD car??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ferraris do 11-12s and they arent meant for drag racing, they are meant to handle well and have a higher top speed so their gearing is different.

they make Fwd cars from the factory with over 250 horse completely stock.

However I can see what you mean if it came from the factory with 100 horses and you built your motor up to 250 horse its obvious its going to handle like a 3 wheeled shopping cart in the ghetto...

I am currently building a 1984 S10 blazer swapping in a fairly built 350 Carter carb ,Edelbrock manifold, 882 heads ported with a 3 angle valve grind, Hyper pistons ,clevite bearings, comp cam ,headers ,dual exaust once i get it back together if its too slow I will rip the motor apart and set up the motor to run with the gm8 turbo i have under my bench
