Whether or not his price is high, to flag him is a really a crap thing to do. It sucks when you list something and someone keeps flagging your listing. I was trying to sell two radios one there on time for reasonable prices and someone flagged me 7 times in the day, even when I changed things. It pissed me off. (I ended up selling them there anyways)

It sucks when people believe they are the craigslist police and flag adds cause they don't like them, not because they're spam. Whether or not you like his price, you really shouldn't flag his listing because of it.

there must have been some reason for it to be done.

the mods for craiglist also spend time searching through them and delete if they think they should. it doesnt take people flagging to close them.

in this case it could easily be looked at as a scam since the stuff sells nowhere near the prices hes asking. even with him saying OBO. no one in their right mind would offer anything over 2000 for all of it including shipping. you think he would lower his asking price by half i doubt it. close enough to be a scam if he sucks some poor sapinto buying in my book.

it isnt a scam in the sense of paying and getting nothing. of course that is something that could happen with him who knows.

sure everyone in the retail world has a mark up on NEW stuff. thats normal.

plenty of people get great deals on stuff and resell for a higher price. it happens every day the only difference is if its new, the higher price is still under new price and usually close to or less than used value.

now marking up used equipment 400x's no warranty, not knowing if it was abused, etc....

if anyone was retarded enough to pay near his price they deserve to get ripped off. at the same time though if someone can help people not get ripped off they should try to help.

I flag car posts on craigslist. but just the ones that are blatantly lying to try and sell something. like a 1996 escort zx2 getting 38-40mpg, or a 1998 blazer LT 4.3L getting an average of 26mpg, give me a break.

I understand if you making a mark up. But when I see people selling a Sony XPlod 200 Watt amp and saying it will with 2 15" Kicker L7's I flag that shit dead.

There's effective ways to mark up your items and there is straight up bullshit, in whichcase the discussed ad is.
