I have a custom sub box with 4 12" subs and amp for a 1999 tahoe this box will fit tahoes from around 1996 - 1999 the subs are crazyyy loud and can move some serious air. Every person who sees my box in my tahoe loves it and cant believe there eyes. The amp is a rockrford fosgate amp that pushes these subs without a bit of trouble. At one point i had 6 12"s running all from the one amp and the bass was unreal. These 4 12" will shake your eyeballs (literally) They are competition whoofers that are 1300 watts a piece. The brand whoofers are Lighting audio model Vc2 If you do the conversion that makes just the sub system a 8 horse power system. THATS MORE THEN MOST LAWN MOWERS. THESE THINGS DONT PLAY IF YOU HAVE A TAHOE AND WANT SERIOUS BASS THATLL TURN HEADS..... YOU GOT NO OTHER CHOICE.
