crack in sub!

Hello, I have two used solo barics. (L7)

As you all know, the cone is mainly hard plastic. up near the logo- on the silver part is about a 1 inch crack. I heard from many that this should not affect its performance. This is hard for me to believe however. Can anybody voice their knowledge?

Yep,

i cracked my JBL's in 4 places. Super glued them up.

Sound good as used.

The cone was in 2 seprate pieces

apparently the plastic part is just a "for looks" cover over the cone. i heard that on the mephis mojo subs that the plastic "M" part on the cone can actually pop off...

so i wouldnt worry too much.
