Kyle, thanks for all of the info, you've pretty much answered all of my questions. One thing that I'm still unsure about is this: My amp has 4 channels, but my headunit (a 5 year old Alpine) only has two outputs. So if I understand correctly I take one of the outputs on the headunit and connect it to channels 3&4 (for the sub). Do I need to get a Y connector? Since the channels are combined I think that plugging the wire from the headunit into only one channel should be fine, correct? Ok so now what about the other two channels? I need to run a wire from the other output on the headunit and I need to get a Y cable, in order to plug it both into channel 1 & 2 at the same time. About the tweeters, I bought CDT-61s about 4 years ago. They came with the speakers, tweeters and crossovers. I had this system installed in my car but took it out 3 years ago when I sold it and it was just sitting in my basement. I could really use some help on how to connect the tweeters and the crossovers. I've thinking about getting Karma SS 12 Gauge Speaker Wires, is that a good choice? This wire can also be used to hook up the sub to the amp? They are about 2 1/2 feet apart, 350watts RMS. http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KAR12SS Finally, you mentioned that RCA cables are all the same, am I safe buying them at Walmart or should I buy somewhere else? Thanks again!
