[QUOTE="Hulk311, post: 6444881, member: 616331"] 1) Where does everone on this board buy their speaker wire from? 2) In order to hook up my amp to the head unit I need RCA plugs. What is the best place online to buy RCA plugs? Are banana plugs the same as RCA plugs? 3) Should I go with 12 or 14 gauge? My speakers will have about 170watts each. 4) Does the gauge of the RCA wires that connects the amp to the head unit matter? 5) What gauge wire should I use to connect the amp to the sub? The sub is only about 350watts RMS. My amp has 4 channels, I am going to use 1 channel for left speaker, 1 channel for right speaker and combing channels 3&4 for the amp. My headunit only has 2 inputs, white and red. 7) Do I get 2 y cables and combine the RCA from channel 3&4 into it and then combine channel 1&2 into the y cable for the other input? Does it matter which cable goes into the red/white input? 8) I also have two tweeters with crossovers, they are CDT, how do I hook them up? 9) Finally, my CDT speakers have a bit of rust where the speaker wire connects, how do I get the rust off? 10) My bass knob is missing the wire that connects it to the amp. Which wire do I need to buy? It looks like it has a phone jack in it. I would appreciate any help with this. Thank you!
