couple question about fuses and fuse holders.

my amp runs at 700 rms at 2 ohms, but its only got a 60a fuse. now my fuse by the battery has a 100a fuse. i read that they have to match, is this true or am i okay?

also the fuse holder is a cheap bluewave one on ebay, does quality matter with fuseholders?

your ok. that fuse under the hood is to protect the car in case of a short so it dont burn to the ground.

Just keep an eye on the fuse holder. If you see any melting of the plastic, then get a new one right away.

yeah but do quality fuseholders and fuses transfer more current? because all my wiring is tsunami and monster, i bought a cheap fuseholder and fuse because i didnt think it would matter. do better quality fuseholders and fuses tranfer more current? or provide better protection? am i better off getting a better quality one?

AGU fuses are fine when theyre working correctly. Sometimes the wire gets hot enough and melts the solder at the ends giving you no power. They may look fine during visual inspection but are bad when you test it. I prefer ANL or Mini ANL depending how big you want the fuse rating to be.

They don't make (or at least shouldn't make) 100A AGU fuses. There is no reason for the fuses to be the same. The fuse in the amp is to attempt to protect in amp in case of a fault. The fuse at the battery is there to protect the car in case of a power wire short.
