Copying atrac3 files to memory stick for Eclipse

Has anybody successfully copied an atrac3 file to MS and then had it play in an Eclipse HU? My card reader came today so I was trying to see if I could figure out how to do that, but it appears that it won't be as simple as I want it to be... I couldn't get what appeared to be the audio files from the memory stick to play in Windows Media Player (even after installing atrac3 codecs), and likewise I'm not sure if simply dumping atrac3 files with the Eclipse naming convention on the MS will work as easily as I would like it to.... so going back to my original question, has anybody pulled this off?

You have to have a memory stick reader that states gatemagic. If it does not, the copyright will not allow you to move the files. I haven't used the window media codec for atrac3, but I don't think it will work. The software is proprietary to Sony and could only be used with sonic stage or Netplayer. Download sonic stage and it will have a section to import and export to devices. It works pretty easy.
