Actually, copper is a superior conductor to aluminum. This is why you see better quality cooking pots with copper bottoms...

Hi Mark, good point about the conductor difference, but the ratio of conductor improvement to mass is in favor of aluminum which is very important for sensitivity which is why aluminum is used for speakers much more often expect in cases where sensitivity becomes secondary to BL product, ie. small boxes, Horns, etc etc... It's important to pick the right driver for the right application.

Oh i get it now... i get one of the tc titanium cones and attach it to my vc and then heat it up with about 5kw and then i can cook on it.... i got ya
