Copper clad aluminum vs. Aluminum vs. OFC COPPER

I just removed my capacitor and needed to run a power and ground about 18 inches to a rear battery. I bought some 1/0 gauge lightning audio wire for now till I buy a new kenetic. I think its just aluminum wire though by the looks of it not CCA BUT Idk? I have enough true OFC 4gauge to run twice from the amp to rear battery in power and ground. Is running dual power and ground 4 gauge copper better than one 1/0 aluminum looking wire?

It actually has more copper than you think

Most CCA is usually 90% alum and 10% copper, they add the copper to the alum to make it more flexiable since alum is brittle.

I would look into welding cable, that's what I use. You can get 2/0 for the same price as "car audio" wire with a heftier jacket and with more copper.

CCA can usually only handle a maximum of 250amps or less, copper can withstand up to 350+ amps out of 1/0 even more with 2,3, and 4/0
