Cooling fan?

ya the whole question is the truth to no cooling fans in maxxsonics products. because other amps have em, or at least the ones ive had, until my hifonics.

Only asking because i think im going with a autotek mm1-1500d for 2 12 re sexs. im gonna see how it is, and then decide what to do with it. any objections? since the *** are 600 rms each figured itd be perfect.

If your amp is overheating, then something is wrong. I run my bxi2006d hard all day, and it does fine.

Make sure you have good grounds, and your electrical is there to back it. If you have shitty electrical, that could be the problem.

Having a fan has really nothing to do with it. I'm sure if Hifonics felt it needed it, they would have built it in. Not that you can't just add a fan externally very easily...

cool all i needed. just wanted to see if that had any effect on mine dying or not.

But it was just weird cuz it worked fine on my w3s, hooked up the w7, ran it for a few days and it just died. so i bought a fr p1000, and used the same wiring, and that amps been fine. so idk what the issue was its whatever now thow, i just asked cuz im looking at a autotek, re *** package deal
