I myself would never own a convertible but my wife loves hers. My father-in-law has a z4 and got rid of it because it wasn't "him". I enjoyed driving it with the top up but felt uncomfortable with the top down by myself. If you have a girlfriend/wife then its fine, if you are trying to pick-up chicks you will only get dudes or middle school girls.
