Congrats to Rick at Raamaudio!

basically puts raamat, and both damplifiers (ss) as the best alternitives to dynamat extreme but rated the dynamat extreme pretty much the standard. was a good read and says alot for ss for WANTING people to know how mats stack up

My first reaction was to scoff the review; Then I read it. Not bad; Have you ever seen what happens when you leave a piece of PNS in the sun? I'd have liked to see a similar test; Sure, the products stick when they're fresh; but what about later?

( The PNS dried up, into a crumbly black sponge-thing. )

Good read. Sound deadner is some expensive stuff...

I've got ~$450 wrapped up in my vehicle in deadener/foam.....and I'm barely even close to being done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Might be ordering another 62.5sqft of mat for ~$100 (depends on how broke I am)

And I agree with the article. Overall, I think Raammat is one of the best deals out there....and I've been saying it for quite some time. Might not be the "best" available overall....but, for the price, performance and ease of use....IMHO it's one of the best values you can find.

x's 2... Ive used several different deadeners over the years brown bread, dynamat extreme and lastly raammat.... ( I also have a friend who is using pns)

I have my entire trunk lid, deck and sides covered with the raam mat bxt (several layers >2) It was EASY to apply, VERY plyable(sp?) and easy on the hands as well. ( I did'nt use a roller and the metal backing was not as sharp or stiff as dynamat extreme.) It's been fairly warm for seattle this year, 75, 80's and even heigher this summer. Nothing is comming loose, sagging, or drooping down. NO smell at all, and they have awsome customer service

You cant go wrong with raammat, that's all I'll buy for my future projects.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
