Confusing moderation

Ive always been confused by this forum. There's a reason I won't sell anything here, and it's because speech is moderated but vendors who pay extra aren't protected. Complaints from vendors go unanswered. Members here have destroyed vendor threads with no response from admin. I get moderation, but the way it's done here doesn't make alot of sense.

Im always going to be berated for anything I choose to do moderation wise. That’s why it’s called moderation. One party complains, isn’t happy, if action is taken, the other party isn’t happy, but the original party is satisfied. Just the way it works.

When you have members after repeated attempts to stop the name calling and attacks, continue the process, action is taken and I stand by it.

The vendor requests were handled long ago and satisfied.

Well, you certainly deserve to be berated, because you just lied to every member on this site with that last sentence. It’s your reputation on the line, as I’ve been honest about everything this whole time, and the 100’s of individual customers I’ve designed for directly off this site for the past 15 years or so know I’m honest, even if I’m not perfectly rounded as a personality:

If you want people to act right, maybe you or whoever owns this site should have invested more time in being an actual leader for this site, as the more serious audio people don’t visit here, so there’s a huge lack of serious knowledge that could be used to greatly help and educate every member on this site. Maybe that’s the way you or whoever actually runs this place wants it

You seemed to have no problem with politics and many other non-audio topics being discussed, that is, until it hit your bottom dollar, and then you punish members for the management’s own faults. It’s not my fault or any other members’ fault that you (as a website) never enforce your own stated rules, except when it seems to impact your spam-like advertisers. I’m just speculating, though, as I see no honesty from you or whoever actually runs this site, as they don’t follow their own rules and make them up as they go.

I got in trouble for making classic mom jokes? Out of all the things I post, that’s what I got in trouble for!? That’s actually hilarious to me. There’s a very limited few members who actually have malicious intent while on this website, and you’ve failed over and over to protect your members due to lack of moderation by those with actual power.

I have a good reputation in the audio industry for trying my best to take care of my customers and doing fairly good audio designs for almost a too cheap of price, and I’ve quite literally designed directly for some major car audio companies, where your members buy those products and come on here to talk about them. I’ve dedicated much of my time to help people with audio for absolutely free, because I’m constantly in love with sound.

Anyways, it’s not my website, so do as thou wilt:



Hope the site can get better, because understanding sound and the physics behind producing sound is basically a key to understanding how the physics of the entire universe works. Just remember when management of this site points fingers at who’s responsible for what, make sure management doesn’t point their fingers too hard, because they might poke their own eye out. As stated, the situation was handled. The entire likes system was changed to prevent your instance from occurring. You seemed satisfied at the time.

I'm trying to clean up the forum, notably the personal slurs and attacks going on, in particular, caused by the political thread antics. The political thread has caused an increasing rift between members and obviously that wasn't slowing down, hence why it was closed.
