what do you want, how much room do you have for sub/s, budget too?

do you want killer sound quality (sq)... killer loudness (spl).. both (sql)

dont buy ANYTHING YET

Im not sure about my budget as it seems the best thing to do is get quality components slowly. But I'd probably become too woried about theft if it cost over NZ$1000 - NZ$1500.

I've never listened to a high sq system so I dont know if i'd prefer it to a normalish one.

Spl isint a huge concern, I want it loud but only inside the car.

As you can see from the pics I was origionally going ok pioneer but have leant towards cheapest alpine.

It's hard to get good brands and good prices here so I buy locally online and parallel imports online.

I'll probably get a wagon so plenty of sub room, not that I'll need more than one.

Mp3 cd playback is a must.
