Cone Noise

I bought a TC-9 from a member and it makes a cone noise... kinda hard to explain. It isnt very loud at all and wouldnt be audible if it werent right behind me. Is this normal? Its the new version of the TC9 and sounds great other than the cone noise...

Does it make a clapping noise? If so, it's bottoming out, turn down the gain.

probably misaligned coil, or former / winding loose. Id take the sub out and inspect all the moving part intersections, maybe free air play it at low volume while inspecting.

no its not bottoming... not nearly as loud as bottomong... its kinda a whoosh sound... kinda... maybe like the rubber part around the cone is rubbing on something?... its not though
