Concept behind zenon boards

Can someone please explain how Zenon boards came into existence? Obviously they have withstood the test of time. I was told that basically the Koreans copycated American and European technology and built their own boards using cheaper parts. No pun intended toward the Korean culture. I know lots of companies use Zenon boards and some pay more money to use better parts. The amps that I have seen which use Zenon boards to me are overbuilt and perform very well.

Nothing to do with cheaper parts. Everything to do with not having to deal with workers that think that living in a developed country somehow makes their labor worth more.

yeah, its a shame when folks are able to make a decent living wage without paying 50k for 4 years of school.

If you only paid 50k for school you got a bargain.

The low relative costs of the Asian amps is a lesson in labor economics that people get all pissy about when the screwed up attitudes at the root of it are brought to their attention.
