why will ferrell as a first guest?

get someone classic like nicholson, eastwood, hanks, etc...

someone interesting that you can look back on and say he/she was worthy to be the first guest, not someone who is going down the way chevy chase did in the 90's

Conan entertained me more than Leno. But Leno had the better guests and Conan seems to have got the hand me downs,imo.

well of course he got the hand me downs when he was on at 12:30 with leno being the headliner. I'm sure Conan will get the big name guests now, unless they screw him and just keep giving them to leno when he starts in september.

and im sure when leno took over for johnny carson people were saying the same thing. hell do fine.

I think they realized carson daly was *******. thats why they changed the format of the show, in case you didnt notice.

Its not like you can say hey lets give him a chance , like leno got on late night.. Hes been on for 15 years , and i believe has lenos writers.. What the difference? hes just not as funny,.. He has a different style sense of humor, that is nothing like what leno or carson had... BUT he needs a shot at least, i mean leno sucked pretty bad his fiorst year or so as well.. He just needs better skits, jokes and needs to gain a older fanbase
