compvrs or hx2?

im gettin a 1000watt MA audio amp..... should i just keep my current compvrs or upgrade to the punch hx2s???..... or are there any other suggestions????

i want sq/spl of 40/60 or 30/70

what size are ur current subs?

i think that the amp would blow them if they are only 10"s

right now im runnin a memphis st-500d wit a pair of 12" kicker compvrs and im upgrading the amp to a MA audio1000 watt amp.

so should i upgrade the subs?

im thinkn bout the rockford punch hx2 or maybe sumthin else in the lines ofthe ed12k.... but i donno

upgrade compvr's don't preform in my opinion...... hx2's are better, but why not 2 l5 12s off ebay?

well i was thinkn if i put double the power into the subs..... it would double the current performance... then i could decide whether to upgrade.

well i heard sum punch hx2 with the ma audio 1000 watt amp... sure it got loud... but tended to get sloppy.

so thats whats holdn me back from the hx2s:banghead:

well go ahead and do that ..... besides u already got the sub, but keep in mind their is a risk of blowin it

If you want more SQ than SPL definitely don't go with the HX2.....two ED12K's on that 1000 watt amp would be your best choice, great SQ, great SPL, cheap. You can't go wrong.
