Computer troubles

so I can't quite figure out whats going on with my computer. Its been acting up for some time now and everytime I fix one problem another comes up. The latest problem I can't seem to figure out is that my mouse and keyboard stop working working about 1 min after my computer loads. Right when it starts up everything works fine but not even a minute later the mouse and keyboard stop working they won't respond at all and its not the devices themselves as I have tried different ones and get the same results. And its not that the computer is froze because apps still update and run so does anyone have any clue what may be causing this?

USB drivers? Have you installed any new software lately?

right click my computer/properties/hardware/device manager. then again you will only wanna check that if your mouse and keyboard are USB.

If its as of recent do a system restore

May also want to check the legacy USB support in your BIOS. It can mess up the input devices in Windows.

Wipe that bish with a format and start fresh.

are they usb or wireless?

they are just standard keyboard and mouse connections. Not USB unless those ports are USB just different shapes.

So i unplugged every USB component i had and its working fine now. i guess its just a matter of checking each individual component to see what is causing the problem.
