comps in a 97 explorer...

anyone ever done any 6.5s in a 97 explorer? I just want to know a little about it before i tackle the problem. The comps going in will be diamond audio d6's..

might take some spacers, iirc its 6x8s all the way around. 5.25 would be easier to mount. Also if you have the upgraded sound system you'll have to bypass the amp.

easy. just make some mdf rings. use the old 5x7(6x8)'s to make the mdf spacers...simple and works great too.
