I have a EM-PHASER EA2190 amplifier (german) its rated 2x180@4 ohms

Going to power Alpine Type R Components (SPR 17S) will set gains with DMM at 120rms@4ohms

My question is,what power cables should i use from the amp to the speakers?

is 2.5mm2 enough,or should i use 4mm2?

Hee hee yeah.. I always forget that USA uses diffrent measures than Europe.. =(((

I dont really understand what 16awg is =((

looks like 2.5mm would be about 12awg so ya thats fine

by amp->speakers i am guessing you mean speaker wire and not actual power cable from the battery to amp

There is a diffrence betweet mm and mm2 =))

13 AWG is about 2.6mm2

and 11 awg is 4.2 mm2

12awg is 3.3 mm2 =)) That doesnt exist =)) There is 2.5mm2 and 4mm2 =))

2.5mm2 is about 13 AWG.. So bassicly that is ENOUGH?

I know that the cables going IN the amp should be good quality thickness, dont really know about the cables going OUT of the amp.. =))
