College Students, how much $$/mo do you spend?

For Shits and giggles, i looked at my bank statements to see how much spending i do during school. I wanna buy some toys this summer so i had to see how much $$$ i had to save.

Between rent, truck payment, utilities, vehicle gas, eating out, booze, etc, i've been spending like $2000 per month //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

What do you guys spend per month, and on what? for some reason i feel like that is super high. Maybe i need to start watching what i buy...

That is with a truck payment of $240/mo, rent of $455/mo, plus internet, heating, electrical, food, vehicle gas...... i think thats it.

****, i wish i only spent that much a month. With the $700/month in truck and rent payments alone, there is no way i could do that. Maybe i'll have to scrap some of the toy plans and pay my truck off.

When I was in school my bills where about 1000 a month.

I drove a beater that I paid cash for and had minimum insurance. I destroyed my vehicles when I was younger. I woud go thru about three vehicles a year.

well i still live at home and no car payment so it helps allot.

that makes more sense then i guess. Between my monthly bills, i pay right around $800/mo, give or take depending on my heating bill for that month.

Depending on the month and how much I make depends on how much I spend. I only have a rent bill which is $619 including cable and water, electricity runs between 40-60 a month, groceries are about $70 a month, then whatever I feel like buying that month caraudio wise. Im lucky to have my parents pick up the cell phone and insurance. I work at a bar so I get alcohol for free and no cover anywhere I go in the area.

Your 2k isnt too bad considering all the stuff you pay for.

i spend 550$ a month on gas, truck insurance, health insurance, and cell phone but i make jack shit so i have cut back drastically on driving around
