coil disconnected from spider and cone

what can cause this? and do you think thats covered by warranty?

I doubt its covered by warranty and its because over excursion. Either your box is built wrong or you put too much power on it.

Depends on the warranty and sub. What company and model? Only time I ever had a spider disconnect from the coil was with my old ma 18" but I also had that thing for quite a while, well over a year so eventually parts break.

its common with the aq's as the spiders are smaller. tripple joint failure.

best thing to do is reconeit with a 4 or 12 spoke basket...
