Things got a little better after the recent patch, but there are still lag/ hit detection issues and crappy framerate..

On a side note, I hope they NEVER make split screen an option for multi. ever again. From what Ive seen, its noobs just playing with their even crappier/noob friends. Iv lost so many games because I have to deal with 2-4 split screen players going 2-20 every game..

Still been playing this game. And still like it. I read some of the posts but haven't had the same things happen. But I have seen that getting into games with friends and such. But that happen in all COD games. Also didn't have the sniper problem either. One shot kill for me. Unless you are not playing Hardcore. Then if its not a head shot it always takes two hits to kill some one. Happens in all the cod games. Have not had any problems with lag or the hit detection. Witch I said to a few ppl That I liked now seem ppl will die faster even if its not in hardcore mode.

So I dunno. Mabye it depends on internet connection and such.

I started playing MW2 like 2 months ago. Didnt like it at first, but then loved it.

Figured MW2 was awesome, so Id try Black Ops. Game *****. Havent done the campaign yet, but the online *****. Gameplay is horrible. I feel like Im playing Unreal Tournament, minus plasma weapons. Its so arcadish. Up close, the MP5 will drop someone with 3 bullets. From a distance, it takes an entire clip. Point blank, a shotgun wont drop someone in one shot. The graphics look horrible. The maps are absolutely horrible. On MW2, each good spot that you can hang out at has at least 2 ways for people to easily kill you. Whether they can walk right up on you, or have a line of sight on you from a distance to take a shot, there is a way that each spot in the map balances with the others. The Black Ops maps are just like mazes. You run around a corner, both people unload a clip, and someone dies. Theres no real chance of anyone sniping on any map. The entire gameplay is just run and gun. Unless some guy gets 2 of his friends to help him camp a house in Nuketown and go 30-2 or something, its like Im playing Quake online. The whole idea that you can just buy whatever you want, and dont have to spend time using the weapon to unlock things by doing challenges or getting kills with certain attachments just *****. It also ***** that you can buy any weapon at any time.

Some of the game modes like 1 in the chamber and gun game are cool. Also, some of the killstreaks and equipment like the camera or motion detector are cool too. Also the fact that there are grenades that have poison gas. If these features were in a game that didnt totally ****, it would be even better.

I still need to try the campaign. Might be good, might not. All I know if the online segment looks like Treyarch hired a bunch of 14 year old kids to remake MW2 on a $500 budget.
