You’re looking at the best of the best. The Cobra XRS 9930 is the most updated version of the Cobra Series Radar Detectors. I bought this after I got pulled over for street racing with a good friend of mine. I know, I should have bought this before that incident, but I was ignorant.
I got pulled over on September 17 and purchased this shortly after from CircuitCity for $199.99, and had my court date on October 24, and went before a judge. I was sentenced to 20 hours of community service, $520 worth of fines, my insurance will more than likely double, and I received 1 year of probation. My jaw hit the floor and I had to ask for assistance in picking it back up… Needless to say, I learned my lesson and realized I should have evaded. But I thought I would be a responsible kid and do the right thing. In exchanged for that, I got slapped in the face with the utmost maximums. If I violate my probation, there is a chance I could be sentenced to 180 days in the county jail. I’ll get to the point… Rule # 11 on my probation sheet was the prohibition of any radar or police scanners, so 180 days in jail is definitely not worth keeping this radar that had served me quite well for the few weeks I had it.
As you can see, the original box will be included with this, the window suction cups and clamp, the coil power cord that plugs into your cigarette lighter, and of course the device itself. Like I said, this thing might as well be brand spankin new. There isn’t a scratch or scuff on this baby.
I am looking to get $125 shipped for it, which would put me $125 closer to paying off that judge that ****ed me over so bad.
