Coaxials that don't distort from bass off of 55 watts?

Are there any coaxials that I can buy that won't distort and start bottoming out whenever I turn it up? Seems like everytime I slam it, I have to turn the bass all the way down or I'll be able to hear them bottoming out...

amped or deck power? if deck power thats probably why. co-ax's aren't really meant for bass anyways.

mids doesn't equal bass............but yeah if you want the best mids, then comps or a dedicated, properly x'dover midbass or midrange (whichever you are trying to hear) speaker is where it's at

i don't really have any. Most comps i use/have used are somewhat pricey..like over $200. So depends on your definition of cheap i guess.

BNIB Xenon comps are 165$, handle 150 RMS, and I'm sure if you have less than that, they can take less than 60hz waves. I'm planning on using the X-over and midbass portion, and junking/selling the tweets for my rear fill set.
