CM3's power handling

I am picking up a used 12 CM3 dual 2. I know these are rated for 500rms but how much more can they handle sealed? I am using a PG ti600.2 which will put out between 600-800rms.

You'll only ever see that level of output with the volume at full-bore playing a continuous test tone.

On normal music you'll rarely, if ever, see that much actual wattage.

It should be just fine.

my cm3 12 loved 1000 watts but that was pushing it... it got hot quit i was very careful and it was fine that way for about 6 months until i sold it

This will be my first venture into the Diamond Audio expierience. I am using it as a fill in until my 16Ov.2 gets replaced. Hopefully it will be worth it. What should I expect in comparison? I know it wont come close in spl. But how will the SQ compare?

dont count it out so soon,they have been known to get fairly loud ported
