clipping question??

You don't hear clipping persay, you do hear distortion an ugliness though. What you may be hearing though is the mechanical limits of the driver. Clipping is not driver dependant, it depends completely on the signal going to and out of the amplifier.

So why is this clipping so noticible with only my speaker and not the other 2 unless my sub is messed up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

First of all im not a moron and secondly its not mechanically reaching its limits probly thermally but i know guys that wang these woofers with 800 watts rms in a ported box like mine built to spec and it handle it just fine dont get that much louder though.

As it continues to smash the former to the pole piece even harder? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

You're not hearing clippign on one speaker and not the other. Unless the distortion and muddiness in the other set-ups is so horrible already that you just cannot tell.
