i didnt scam anybody , i had every intention of mailing him that amp , until he started pressuring me to steal from someone. $50 mine , and the rubi is in the trash , ***** has been rebuilt 3 times by amp medics already anyhow , plus one of brodiesel's AP's went in phatbois car today and it straight slapped that SS rubi in its face , something was definetly wrong with that amp before it stopped working completely.
I dont know all that happened with this situation, but I read the thread. Just want to say that Steve at Amp Medics is a good personal friend of mine, and while he may or may not have repaired the SS 2500.1 at one point or another, the garbage repairs that will be seen when the amp is opened up are not Steve's work.

At the USF meet two weeks ago I was with Don when he was playing his setup and then the amp went into protect and started DCing his sub. The mounting feet were all broken and whatnot and the amplifier was rattled to pieces inside. He was telling me about how his boy (Bassin Buick) fixed the amp. We opened the amp up and it literally looks like there are 25 melted hot glue sticks inside the internals. Every single component of the amplifier is just encased in a pile of hot glue. Just the power and ground terminals on the inside of the amp are encased in a solid block of hot glue that is the size of two golf balls, this isnt even mentioning every single capacitor that is sunken in a sea of hot glue.

So I dont know this whole situation as I dont come on this forum, dont know Bassin Buick personally, and dont talk to Don very much at all except for a bit at local meets, but I just want to clear Steves (Amp Medics) name from the shitty mess that is happening inside that amplifier. He does great repairs and everyone would vouch for him. To say that he fixed it, and then not mention that you went in and just smeared around enough hot glue to double the weight of the amplifier just isnt right.

This thread isnt to discuss the problems going on. I just wanted to make that fact known and defend Steve's amplifier repair abilities.

this. +1

Like I said, it may not be a lie. Maybe Steve did repair it once, or even a few times. I have no idea. But the assload of glue that the amp internals are completely filled with was not done by Steve, but Bassin Buick.
